going from software to the mpc

i have used reason from version one and before that i was messing with fl,
about a year ago a kid sold me his 2000xl for about 250$. Now this kid was a idiot, so i bought the thing thinking that i would sell it and make some money. i was so jused to software so i didnt really consider keeping it.

i started playing with it a little and it turns out it got the eb-16, 8 out´s and maximum memory. Let me tell you, after i made my first beat i was hooked.

Now im in love with it and cant go back to software. Bought the proteus2000,
and gettin a akai s5000 tomorow. God damm i wish i had known earlier.

thats a damn good deal man.i sold mine for $800 and it was about 5 years old.its funny cuz the new ones have went up in price!(at least from when i bought mine)

the kid i bought it from was about 16, i guess his rich as dad got it for him and he couldnt figure out how to use it. SUCKA!!!!!

damn that was lucky! right palce at the right time, huh

yeah, got the s5000 today, with lacie scsi cd-rom and an scsi drive with four 640 mb discs. the discs look like minidiscs, blue on one side and silver on the other, never seen those before. the whole pakage for 360$

and it still got the cover plastic on!!!!

well i do use software, lay the beat down with the mpc, take out all tracks seperately to cubase sx and mix it down. but i havent linket it with midi. i guess its the next step in the learning process
