S/P-DIF out

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but if i have a recording device that is able to accept S/P-DIF in, then i shold be able to disconnect my stereo out channels and recored in a digital format right? Well thats what im trying to do, Do i have to turn this feature on in the MPC?

No. Just plug the MPCs digital out to the digital in of your recording device using a quality cable. You may have to make some settings on your recording device.
