Well.....I m not sure why they took away the feature of "simult" so control 2 pads with one pad ! .........this feature on my 2000 was KEY in layering drums...now I have to resample the kick and if I dont like the filter I put on I have to resample again....honestly its really time consuming and I still dont get the results I did with my 2000....

HOPEFULLY akai makes a SIMULT option with the new os.. or if anyone knows away I can layer diffrently let me know......

how have yall been layering your kicks when u want one filtered and one not filtered .....LET ME KNOW?????

you can assign multiple sound ,up to four I think to one pad.
Read the manual. You do it with one of the mode buttons, can't remember off the top of my head

I know how to assign 4 notes to diffrent pads thats super easy but I want each sample to have a diffrent filter setting ......so I want to have one pad trigger many pads so i can use diffrent filters from each pad

....but I guess thats not gonna happen
