replacing the wheel on a 2000

my jog wheel is jacked up. when i turn it left the numbers go right, or often go crazy out of control. has anyone ever replaced one of these? i already replaced my screen and put the eight outs in myself so i'm not so scared. any ideal on where to buy the part or putting it in or even better, getting by without it. trimming samples, song mode and loading sounds are my biggest problems with this.

I don't know about the straight 2k... but on the 2KXL, there is a way to check your jog wheeel for being operational or not. Do a search... I think I even wrote something about this awhile back. But lke I said... it was for the XL.
