LAGGY TRIM PAGE

I need help... i looked and looked on this site... i know i saw it once, but only NOW does the issue come up...

I am having slowdown in the TRIM page. When I am setting the start and end point. Its laggy, and slow when I spin the wheel... ANYONE? I might need to reset the settings or something? help me out, thank you! -Jesse

ps: the jessiah glitch 2.1 is VERY interesting... i will make another video for that soon...

no, i usually like to record anywhere from 5-10 samples in, and then go through and chop... but when I move the cursor around in the TRIM page, its all slow and hard to work with... it basically sucks. I cant find this issue in the search...?

nah i don't think it's been mentioned that much, though it has been mentioned. i guess using the search function ain't gonna help you if someone posted it in the os 2.1 pains thread, even now they're allowing other threads, no-one's posted this bug up.

you aint missing the shift+left cursor trick are you?

No, it doesnt matter if I am in 1's, 10's, 1000's, the mpc kinda stutters through when I am scrolling... so when I hit a pad to hear the start point I am editing, there is this lag, and I cant work fast. I have to give it a second to register... what a pain.

hmm, does sound like a bug to me, have you reported it to akai? is it repeatable from a blank mpc, or does it just happen randomly?

is there a way to flash my mpc, and get rid of all that crap that the os 2.1 had in it... like the memory sounds or whatever... what the hell is that prgram 1? sketch...

yo i got the same problem its so freaking annouing slows u down like crap it only lags on the end trim if im on the start point it wont lag but as soon as i go to the end the machine turns in to the singer joe stststststuuuttteeerrr

thats really the same thing! its soooo anoying! lol

right now, if I hit a pad to quickly, then the sample wont play... like its cutting it off if I am hitting the pad again to fast. Like a poly/mono kinda glitch in the TRIM page. anyone else?

is there a way to flash the mpc or erase the f'd up memory that the new os installs... whats that program "No. 1" anyway?

probably... or maybe mine just got trashed somehow...

the program no. (short for number) option allows you to select a program on an external piece of hardware like a synth. the number '1' next to it is the current program number it is set to send. '1' is default. hope this helps.
