i understand that. i just wanted to know some of them to see if i can get an idea if that was fixed. i wasn't looking for an all inclusive list. i'm just trying to get an advanced heads up since the release notes are not ready by akai.

I am pretty sure that the reported bugs in the forum have been addressed with this pending OS...I will throw my MPC away if it doesn't.

But some of the most popular reported bugs:
Time stretch instability
Disapearing samples when editing samples loaded from the CDM25
Go-to key doesn't work
Max out memory crash
MIDI Out C/D issues...and sometimes (depending on the synth) A/B as well
Truncate long sample crash

Hey Jahrome, I've been around the forums about 4 months now and have come to know you as a man of your word. If all the issues are not corrected with the update (I have a complete listing), Maybe you'll want to throw your 2500 over this way. Or, if you do put it out in the trash, I have a really good friend who lives in OKC who can go fish it out for me, all I'll need is your address (how far from N.Markwell ave are you?). Or, I can just drive there since I am only 5 hrs away. Let me know whats up!!

I will throw it away but you will need a military or Department of Defense identification card to fish it out of our community dumpster :D

Oh, military base eh? Oh well :( . Why not this... if you throw it away, just "throw" it in a box w/ my address on it and "throw" it on the counter at UPS so they can mail it to me. At least the CD m-25? J/K dawg.

I haven't had any probs so far so my anticipation of the update is a little BLAH. I can wait. I will update of course but so far, so good w/ my machine. One question though.... Installing the update will be easy right? I have tried and tried to update the OS on my E-Mu MP7 and its just super complicated and I have never been able to do it.

Honestly, I really just want all the MIDI outs to work properly and for them to fix it so it doesn't crash when editing samples. These are functions that should have worked from the start...but thats what happens when you let novices beta test software. They would have done better with monkeys.

But Sparq stated that the MIDI Out issues will be fixed (famous last words  ). So I am really looking forward to this...so I won't have to throw it in the trash. I am thinking about getting an MPC 1000-bk...mainly to keep peoples hands off my 2500.

I have an 88 key Roland A-90 controller. It has 2 MIDI Ins/4 MIDI outs that are connected to various pieces of gear in my set-up. I use it mainly as a controller, but it is a powerful synth in its own right. I may purchase a 1000 to sit on top of it for the kids.
