I would appreciate the help...i aleady tried searching for it but couldnt find it...anway, i use Soundforge 8..to chop samples sometimes....before i dump them into the MPC....now...one particular sample......its like a horn with a organ chord on the end of it...i got like the tail end of the organ on a sustain loop....when i dump the sample into the mpc...it plays it normaly when u hit the pad...without the sustain loop, but in trim mode and edit mode...when u hit the pad....the sample plays with the sustain loop on it...how do i transfer that so it plays on the pad???

don't chop it in sound forge. use the 1k to chop and then adjust your start/end points there.

My loop points from sf8 import properly into my 2kxl.
I've never tried that one a 1k, I don't have a 1k.

Check if the Pad in the Program is set to "One Shot" or "Note On". Sounds like this is your problem.
Stuff won´t sustain if it´s set to "One Shot".

Basic sampler knowledge, all in the manual. Read it.
