On my memory card I usually save all sequences and choose a name for them, then when I begin a new session I either load the sequence I want to mess with or I just start and make a new sequence...now when I load a sequence I am scrolling through like 10 other sequences to find the one I want...what I want to do is to put all the sequences I have in one seq file, and load them all and save them one time...so when I want to mess with a sequence it will be loaded and I can listen to the other sequences as well....I hope this all makes sense...

in short, I want to save all my seperate seq files in one seq file...any help?

Lamp you crack me up.

Niceweis, damn.

When saving, choose to 'save all sequences and songs'.

How can you not know this with over 300 posts?

for some reason I read that wrong and I was thinking totally different songs and not seq's in the SAME song.

So yeah, NICE, Krux is right, I'm sorry I misread big dog.
I'll pay closer attention next time.

Well....If you convert your songs to sequences, then save an ALL SEQ file, that should do it...

Yes...but when I load each seprate seq file each one I load will overlap and take away the last one...it wont mess my sh*t up if I load one, save it as "all seq and songs", then, load another seq, save that too as "all seq and songs"? I just dont want to delete any of my sh*t by doing trial and error. Thanks for the replies.

ps...these are not seqs in the same song...I usually use one seq to make a beat and just mute things in and out...these are all different seq's, different beats, and most are all in the first three seq spots, so I dont want to load one and save it then load another and save it and they replace they other seq...got me?

Yes, you can Lamp...but my question is, I already have saved all these individual seq's...what I want to do is save all of the seq's (I have saved as individuals), as one group of seqs...so this way I can load one thing, and all my seq's will come up...I dont think this is possible because once I load one seq and try to load another, it will replace the one I originally have loaded in the same seq spot....I know this is hard to understand, thanks for the patience

(quick example:
I have- All seq and songs 1
All seq and songs 2
" " " " 3
etc

All seq and songs 10
*note...most of these seqs were recorded on seq 1-4 on my main screen of the MPC 2000XL.
What I want- All seq and songs 1 (With the 10 above seqs included in this file) Hopefully this makes more sense...

I'm lost man.

I don't understand what you are trying to do.

If there is a way to copy a sequence from slot one to slot two, just use that...

like load one, copy it to slot ten... load another copy it to slot nine, etc.

but I can't remember if you can do that ;)
