Recording cell voice mails

Hey yall
I've been lurking around here for a while and now am getting serious with a few guys in the dorms. MPC/motif type setup- real basic shit

I was wondering if anyone round here has tried to record their cell voice mails into cubase or pro tools- is it possible at all? I've been trying to figure out a way and I know it can be done but not sure exactly.
I've got some funny ass messages on my cell that would be perfect for intros and skits.

wasnt sure if there was a way to somehow transfer the cell's audio to the computer other than a mic.

maybe try a y line cable and take the your head phone out to the in of your soundcard, with an adapter, check radio shack they gotta have them.

Headphone jack on celly to Mic Jack or "Line In" on soundcard .....
works like a charm...I have a Philips MP3 player that records line in too.
If you have an MP3 joint with "Line in" capability, thats the best way to convert it to digital.

what phone you got? you can sometimes get these adapters with a 1/8" headphone jack on them.

...You can Bluetooth it to your computer too.

hey i didnt even think about a y adapter for the phone. thats a good idea. i've always tried the speaker phone thing. it comes out ok i guess depending on what mic you use. mine always came out kind of flat sounding...but anyway, good luck man. but that cable thing might actually work for you. im sure radio shack has them (like I think someone stated)
