SLT: Did you get that sp1200 disk from my man? He claims it was sent out a few days ago. Please be sure to thank him once you receive it.

I'm also thinking about coppin' a Numark PT-01 (can do 78RPM) which seems to be the best sounding portable turntable.
I saw Kev Brown using it and his **** sounds nice so I guess the PT-01 is cool. Anyone ever used it for sampling ?
I have a PT-01 and its ok for sampling. Not that good though, mainly use it for listening to records at my girls place, her grandparents and parents crib and whenever I go diggin the country. I also have a Stanton Str8-80. Now it's good for sampling @ 78 or whatever speed you want. Sampling at 78 rpm ain't rediculous, I flip alot of stuff at that speed.
Kersey, get another memory chip in that 60 and you'll be straight, specially if your using a S950. Thats more than enough sample time for anybody. Also, you can just compress them sounds and them pitch them again. (I think) I'm going to have to turn on my 60 and try it again, its been a while since I used that option. I mainly use it on bass and low frequency samples, but it makes kicks and snares sound kinda raggedy in a bad way. Good on sampled bass though, gives it a nice pleaseant buzz.
