burning cd's

I am trying to record some of my vinyl to cd but my disks are coming up blank I'm using pro tools 7 what format should i use when i bounce to disk?

Guess....sike! Though that's what I should have said, being that since you're recording a CD, CDs are in a certain format, and that's what you should bounce it as. But since at this moment I'm in a giving mood...

Make sure you put a dither on the master fader (if you recorded it at 24-bit), make sure it doesn't peak/go in the red, and select from start to finish what you want to bounce. When you start the BTD process, select 16-bit, 44.1khz, and stereo interleaved, and the the folder you want it going in (I usually bounce final mixes to a folder marked "mixes"). Bounce. Then go ahead and open your burning program and get that file from the folder. Burn. Enjoy.

Now go and read the reference manual and familiarize yourself with the features of bounce to disk, and loads of other fun, useful stuff.
