does anyone use the microkorg.has it changed your beats at all???just curious cuz i just bought one

it aint gonna make your shit any better, its like a filler synth. to add little drops and specs here and there, plus the basses. i had a MS2000 and a microKorg, used em, sampled em, and returned, you already got an MPC, get busy!@!@!

I personally think that after a lot of experimenting and reading, the microkorg definitely adds the right components to yur tracks. Granted, its not a studio like the triton, but you can create a lot of different sonds out of that piece, and it is a midi controller to be used with the MPC and the PC programs. Good investment in my opinion.

micokorg will suite some but feels too toyish to me.

can do more on an MS2000 so id recommend that over it.

Yeah, the MicroKorg FEELS and LOOKS toyish, but the sounds stand up to other analog modelling synths (not necessarily the presets.) If you learn to program your own sounds, the MicroKorg is great for the money. It's not quite as good as the MS2000, but it's way cheper.

No. Nothing does except the MiniMoog. There's a reason why MiniMoogs cost in the thousands.
You won't get true analog synth sound with a digital "analog modelling" synth.

watch it this toystyle synthe is more turning your sound into microcoke like if u got a phat speaker system with enough power too handle the microcoke yeah i send my tr 505 through my micro while i play the sound via midi on the mpc pad like a sound modul with fx send
but u can record the drums an the events from micro
so switsch beeteween phat murder drums or psyco jingaling flangin sounds or freaky melodys via midi en get in toch like ur stereo in ur pool while u swimm in it yeha this is the right thing to deal the deal
witch this advice u will understand the useage of all these specific controllers i mean the disciptions of the knob who style ya sound .

the micro korg is hella compact and sounds pro, but if ur trippin off the microkeys get the novation k-station that shit is iller than the korg and has normal size keys and way more controls to **** with

If ur looking at the microkorg, like jpeg said, the K-station is good. but for the extra cash, might as well get a KS4 or KS5 - the prices have slumped and they are multi-timbral.

I have one, its just a fun synth, have fun you will like it. DVSKI has it down.
you gotta love the whole "30 day" deal at GC, find some think you like the sounds but the rest is wack, buy , sample it, return it. Its the way to go.

The best part about the MK is the basses. It is odd to program though.

I had the MS2000, sampled it.
didn't like some of the control on it.
