IN what order should I install these upgrades(8outs,memory,m

Hey yall im ordering the 8 outs, the memory expansion and the card reader for my mp. In what order should I install these parts? Thanks!

i dont think it matters

memory is sooooo cheap [unless you mean the flash rom]. get the card reader and that first. 8 outs is a luxury, not a necessity.

8 outs in kinda worthless if you only have 2MB of sample memory. def do the RAM first. and its cheap.

last time i checked thats only 10.5 seconds of sample time. for most people i would figure increasing sample time would be more important, before starting to tune that sound. I dunno maybe thats just me.

Doesn't matter what order. People have their prefs but it really doesn't matter.

The answer seems pretty simple; just look at what you want and need the 2000 to do and get them in that order.
Good order might be
1) card reader.....no need to have to change your storage methods later.
2) 8 outs.......that way you want have to reroute stuff you have worked on or are working.
3) memory since by then you will have developed methods and will be able to make the best usage of the memory.

But that doesn't mean you have to do it that way, just a suggestion.

Sorry guys I must have been un clear about what I was getting at. IM getting all these pieces at the same time and was wondering what should I install into the machine first. And by the way, ya 20 seconds has been good, but I want to start sampling in stereo.

get them all at the same time, no order, just do one at a time and make sure it's good then move on to installing the next.

there is no order. just get on installed and working and then move on to installing the next.
