tap tempo button question

can the tap tempo note button be used while using a rack for sounds or will it only work if u load up sounds via zip or floppy???? I ve tried to use this feature with my motif rack and have been unsuccessful, any help would be dope.....

You just tap it... it will work with a song blasting out of a jeep 3 blocks away or even imaginary music in your head.

speakin of tap tempo, does this happen to any of you out there? U know how u normally hold the tap tempo and a pad, well soemtimes it goes off like as if i was holdin a pad down but I'm not, and it screws with the bpm..I can bring it back to its original state, but once in a while the shit happens to me
