That's where most people make their mistake.
Don't be shooting for quantity go for quality.
You could actually take 4 ill drum sets and flip them enough different ways with EQ, compression, filtering, decay, layering, verb, delay etc to do about 5 whole LP's without the drums sounding the same on any song.
Look for source material moreso than looking for actual drums to use.
All scanning through libraries usually does is kills the inspiration.
Also if you are a 2 handed tapper find one comfortable arrangement for various types of drums and build your kits that way, so that you can swap various kits when you later feel the drums don't match.
