I just got my Numark PT-01

This thing is the shiit. I just throw that and my mpc in a bag and I'm off. damn i love it. If I could only find more jazz vinyls around where I live. Damn. BUt yeah whoo hoo. Peace

well withthat thin g you should be able to find more jaxx records go to antique shops they usually ahve stuff like that some great 40"s jazz. hit flea markets and book stores you'll be suprized whaT u find,

shit i just hit the goodwill and copped 25 jazz and blues vinyls for $1.75 total. I was gonna keep looking but them assholes closed early. I am gonna hit the flea marke tup on sunday and look in the paper. A couple of months back some guy was selling 200 vinyls of jazz, classical, blues and swing for liek $25. I missed out. I called like ten minutes after he sold them all. But I'm aware now. akk I need now is the os 2 for the 1000 and I'm done.

I must say , my girflfriend got me this Numark turntable...and I don't use it much since I have my 2 @ home turntables (teks mkII) , but when I gotta go places or I'm previewin records at my friends houses, I plug that bad bastard into there stereo or just use my headphones and I'm good to go...I love this thing...very convenient

something's wrong wit my pt01 motor..it runs a little slower than its supposed to

i guess its from backspinning and cueing up the records when i sample...i have to turn the pitch up to get it to regular speed

The pt-01 is dope.....I really like it a lot, although I would recommend NEVER cutting it up on a belt drive....especially one with a motor this small. You will burn that sh*t out way too fast. The one thing that sux is that fact that you cant fit the turntable in the top cover part, so you have to find a spot for it, which can be a b*tch when you are digging in a tight area with lots of other customers walking around you. The bateries last forever in the thing too.. I like to fill my water bottle up with tequila sunrise, and dig dig dig till i'm diggity DRUNK.

i love mine, ive dropped it many times, banged up the needle, works like brand new

i hate to lift up the needle and try to find the spot i was at...really slows my workflow...so i just back spin-it--not the best thing to do, but thats the way i like to do it

when i get my 12s, i'll use those cuz they can stand the hell i put them through...

but nothing sounds like my pt01...its just really frickin dirrrty compared to other tables wit better needles...

Does backspinning with the pt01 and the handytrax wreck the belt drives?

man of course it duz,.,.,.those lil turntables are specifically meant to just play records..It ain't for you to show the audience how u cut on wax wit emcee get busy ,.,.

I mean, for sampling not cutting. Like if I'm listening to a record and i hear a good sample, then i just stop the record with my fingers and spin it back to the sample.
