OS 1.10 soon to be released??

I heard from insiders from Akai USA and Japan that it will be here when it gets here. They are still in the process of trying to fix it and release it.

Also..I am not blindly believing that when this new OS drops that it will be flawless or fix all my problems. Even with the new OS...give me 24 hours and I can produce a bug (unlike Akai's beta testing clowns). Unless there is a major problem.....I will be really greatful if they just fix the MIDI Outs....

NO, you are misled--it has 4 midi out's and 2 midi in's

we were all misled into believing that all 4 outs would be functional.

sorry, my sarcasm obviously didnt come across properly - thats what the wink was for!

I know there are four physical out ports on the back, but 2 of them might as well not be there...

They should just release it today. Even in 2 weeks..we will still find problems

...just visited the japan akai website and surprise... a new os was released!!!

but sadly it is for the dps24 - so that was in the pipeline also, keeping the development team (or that one poor guy in the akai basement, who is forced to do i all by himself without any beta testers, because of some strange sense of being to proud to ask for help...) busy.

for the positve thinking: it shows they are indeed busy and our os might be the next to drop.

It would be nice if you didn't have to pull the USB lead out to exit USB mode on the next OS, bit late for suggestions now though!
