I had the same after playing with the new move function.

Moved some kicks around on track 1 with move. After that my 2 bar pattern dropped after 2 counts.
After deleting track 1 it played the whole 2 bars again.
strange!

This hapens to me with certain programs. But ONLY certain programs and it seems intermitantly. If i delete the track right after i did it (no undo but let it be and delete that whole track) then the sequence will keep playing and not chop like that. I've lost like 5 beats to this bug so far, i've had it happen when all that was playing was a monophonic synth line and claps (the offending sequence was 1/8th time shakers so 3 voices at one time tops). The only thing i've been able to trace it to is mixing stereo samples of different bit rates from different programs.
My work around has been to just record from the main out if i want to use those programs and make a loop of the pattern/track i made then delete that track.
But its a VERY VERY serious bug on akai's part, destroyed my workflow many times

I got a similar problem. This is definitely a bug! Sometimes when I use the 16-Levels tune function and record a pattern of different pads - the MPC does not record the correct buttons. It is SO weird! It plays the first bar right, but on the rest og the bars the pads are totally different from what I recorded!
I checked it in the Step Edit mode.... THIS BUG INTERUPTS MY WORKFLOW!
