what r the names of the mastering programs for use in pro tools--like r there mastering plug ins u can by. I want to do my own mastering

Yeah, there's a bunch here. First, you plug that URL into your web browser, and load up some phone numbers into your cell phone. Next, you plug your music to some mastering engineers on said phone, and make sure you set your parameters to some recordings you already like. Make sure you hit the 'preview' button on some work they've already done, so you're familiar with what they do. Then, you tweak the money settings. Once that's done, you just plug a blank CDR into your computer, burn your audio, then plug that CDR into a padded envelope. Then plug that envelope into the USPS system, and wait a while. It's not a realtime system, but you should get good results.

Seriously, a good mastering engineer's going to do better than a quick ProTools plugin solution. Just make sure they know what you want to sound like-- and I mean play some recordings for them, and listen to some work they've done before.
