Will it work in a 2000xl? Is it the same board?
Yeah it's the same board so it will work. But the mounting bracket on the sampler's expansion board is different.
I think there is a commonly used way of mounting it in the MPC, but I'm not sure what that is! Regardless, you'll have to do a bit of modding to get it in.
I'm sure it's been explained here before so do a search on the forums and see if you can dig it up.
