load a sample

hi everyone. your expert knowledge is needed, bought an mpc2500 about a week ago, I am having problems when connecting the mpc2500 to my computer via usb, i download (e.g mp3 jayz accapella) to my mpc2500 but cant seem to load or assign to any pad could anyone help me solve this problem would be much apperciated thanks.

Do the MPC2500 support mp3?

There are quite a few software programs on the market (some cheap..some expensive) that will convert sample files. Do a search for Awave Studio. You can download a demo to see if it will fit your needs. Purchase the ful version if you find it useful.

Or you can email it to me and I will convert it for you...

Or just run Winamp with the DiskWriter plugin...
