Is it possible to create basslines using the 60 exclusively? What are some techniques that some of you more expereinced cats use? Thanks for the help...good lookn out. 8)

the best way to do is find a bass sound thats pretty close to what you want...

There aren't any filters so you can just take any old thing with bass and get a bass tone out of it.

But, you can probably do everything you want to do using a filter with a good eq.

i meant to say..theres alot of ways to get basslines w/ the 60..
sample a few short bass notes, play w/ note slider for tuning..use the note cuttoffs in the sounds params screen to create a mono/muted live bass...check jazz records..get a quality sample and slow it down to get gritty..try to run some eq on the bass sample alone..use the outs of the 60 to a mixer even if just two three outs..1drums,2bass,3sample/melody..EQ when you rec in.. or, take one sustained bass note, set to mono and set 16 levels to tune..and play it there. use eq as creatively as you would a filter...
