If only... "Wish List" or "How do I..."s

News and notes from my first few hours with this beast:

- Is there a Volume/Level trim for a whole program? It only seems possible to adjust gain per pad. Am I missing something?

- Similarly, I'm suprised that it's not possible to EDIT a particular parameter (like Level of Filter Cutoff) for all pads in a given program simultaneously.

- Seems silly to me that the Q-Link sliders can't be assigned to ALL pads in a particular program. This would enable filter sweeps over a particular kit, which would be lovely. Is there another way to accomplish this?

lI'm having a difficult time believing the mpc1k isn't equipped to do these simple things. perhaps I'm spoinled, but having used the mpc4k extensively, I'm a bit dissabpointed that the architecture of the 1k doesn't support even these simple operations.

my question was not "read the manual for me" --I've read it-- my question was "Is there really no way to do these simple things?"

at least Akai didn't make the mistake of advertising unimplemented features as they did on the 4k.

I'd love to believe that some of this "No-Brainer" stuff will come with time, but after holding my breath owning a mpc4k for as long as I did, I know better.

seems a shame tho. a couple of these missing functions (e.g. no Program Level control --yo, so... no mixing?) severely impair it's use if you want to use it for end to end songwriting... just my opinion, of course.

anyone know if you can do this stuf fon a 2000xl?
