2000 Calssic or 2000XL

Sup peoples, I have a choice between a 2000 classic with everything but the effects card or a XL with no options but 32 megs of memory. Which would you get?

I would take the 2000
the output option is too important for me

the xl is much better me. the 2000 is a 3000 without the nice sound(thats how I feel). the xl has importaint options like chopping and timestretch and its smaller. if you really need the outputs just buy one for it if the 2 are the same price.

I think that the sound difference is minimal
its still garbage in garbage out

i have an xl and 3000, if the 3000 didnt sound as good as it does than I wouldnt keep it around cause the options suck on it.

go for the xl instead of the classic. You're much more limited in storage options on the mpc 2000 than on the mpc 2000 xl.

i would go with the XL too (which i'm about to get) i like the work flow of it.

XL with a card reader , and 8 outs . and to pass on a tillted screen it is called a sore neck.
