Excellent video and a great beat. Thanks for the link.

Anyone know what the small instrument he's using towards the end is called? Not the triangle or the wood block. The thing he's holding in two hands at 07:04. I know the sound and I like it, wouldn't mind picking one up from Ebay or something...

Thanks.

Thanks very much Grouphome :) I've heard the name before, but couldn't put that name to the instrument.

I'm gonna cop some 20Syl now too: http://www.onandon-records.com/20syl-sounds.php

Check out "Shake ya butt" :)

Gotta love the net.

Man add me to the list...that shit was impressive. Real soulful, laid back beat. The video production was nicely done also...and it's refreshing to see a beatmaking vid without the dude running his mouth through the whole thing--just music, i like that.

you know true musicianship includes all aspects, including people that rock the mpc right? i'm assuming so since you're on this board.

on the real, i know people that can play stuff on 16 levels that destroy real musicians any day of the week.

...and no this isnt coming from someone who can't play any instruments.
on the contrary i can play lots of instruments, but i can see more musicianship in some people i know rocking mp's (that cant even play one instrument) compared to people who have played an instrument for 10 years.

just my opinion.
peace.
