Whats format do you use to save sound to foppy disk
to load in the mpc 2000 xl... sound are'nt showing up
when i load them

where'd you get the sounds from in the first place?
what are you loading them to?

I thought is was Windows PCM .wav.

Thats what I use to go from ZIP drive in PC ( Win XP) to ZIP connected to MPC. The only time I had a problem not seeing the sample is when the disk is formatted in FAT32. It should be formatted in FAT.

not sure about the Floppy though. I would save it as windows pcm wav.

FAT16 to be more specific

It doesn't matter what it's on (floppy, zip, Card), just save it as Windows PCM .wav. Also, make sure it's sample rate 44.1 kHz with a 16-bit resolution.

wheni save as windows PCM it doesnt work sometimes..thats why i use ACM wavform. try both wichever works for u..im using a 1k

Ok...so I guess youre using a Card eh and not Magnetic media? (Floppy or Zip) I have no KNowledge of the 1K.
