Can i record beats that i made in FL Studio into my mpc2kXL

I have an mpc2000xl, triton workstation sampler, mophatt rack, cubase sx, and fl studio that i am currently working with, what i want to do is have my mpc as the master and everything else its slave.
I find it easier to create my basic beats patterns in fl studio.....so I want to either record the beat that i made in fl studio into a 4 bar sequence in my mpc, or can i just record the beat in my cubase sx and then combine and record everything together.......please help a brother out with any input!!!!!!

So far, it seems although you have no use for the MPC. Your using FL to program and sequence. You should be building your beats in the MP then as an option you can master/slave it with Cubase.

Why not take the samples from FL and use them in the MPC?! Is it the visual thing that you like about FL?? Hmmm

How you got everything hooked up? Are your modules hooked up to your comp?

i am doing basslines in Floops using a softsynth sometimes...i just put a cable from the pc out to the mpc in, and sample the stuff...that saves me from the hassle of Zip switching, which wastes my time. Its a good way to come up with great stuff in short time. just match the BPM in the MPC and Floops.

Yeah you can.... I do it....

Export your Midi Files from FLoops, open them in Cubase... Use the "List Editor" to change the note values to correspond to the samples you have assigned to the pads on your MPC then export your .mid sequence onto your zip and load them up into your MPC...!!!! worked first go for me...

The only reason I do this is I like to use the pads in my MPC to Jam out my songs... There is no reason why CUBASE shouldn't be your master...unless your MIDI is way loose you need a dedicated MIDI interface with multiple outs if you have multiple midi tracks you need at least one for SYNC data for it to work solid (if it is Cubase SX then MIDI issues are probable) Check out the MPC manual on how to sync Cubase to MPC its a pretty easy thing to sort out...
