the propellerheads have big problems with this litte app, nobody had achieved unpackuing refills until them boys

i doubt propellerheads would even care. there have been third party apps for rebirth, as well as mod packer (which propellerheads developed).

i dont remember where i saw this interview

but that propellerhead guy seemed pretty confused when he was questionned about this app

What a great find! I have been using this app due to this thread and it is insane to have all of these sounds available for my mpc programs.

However I am running into a small problem with the app, which is that some of my purchased refills are very large (i.e. 875mb for one folder of snares in the Reason Drumkits refill). The problem I am running into is when you are trying to select a large number of files in a folder, it slowly goes down the line adding them to your selection since there is no select all, which means you must use the shift select method. Extracting them only takes a moment, but selecting and even deselecting for that matter slows things down for minutes at a time. Since those on this thread are using this app as well, have any of you ran into this and does anyone know a faster workaround to this problem?

Don't get me wrong, this is still a great app and I won't stop using it for slowness issues or anything, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, if any of you are looking for more refills to extract try the site www.combinatorhq.com. It is free to register and most of the refills are also free and uploaded by members who have been sampling odd instruments for use with reason (and now the MPC).

For those that are using the appliactaion do you have to "unstuff" them file by file or can you do a group at onece and also approx how long does it take per sound (approx obiously) cus i might run it on my Virtual PC (ie windows on Mac) but if its really slow i wont bother reinstalling the software for it. Thnx

although i can see the use for this program and i have thanked Od3rus for sharing it but what i want to know is if a person has reason to use this program, why not just use reason as a sound mod? unless of course, you want the sounds for when you're not around your computer?

just curious.....
