i've got tons of records for little kids, got em all from goodwill auctions. they're great for vocal samples.

i got this one record that is a typing instructor for a typewriter...great sounds on that thing.

yea those are great cause they spell chit out alot and have kids in the background screaming, handclaps - all of which is freakable

He took me to see the Human League last month and it was a really good show. 'Being Boiled' sounded mental through their system, the bass was unreal.

man kid you lucky human league is dope i got the hardtimes album instrumental and vocal and a few of there 12" too. wow cant wait to take my son to a conert hopefully the gruops i listen to will still be around in a few years more.

yo, y you do that? you dont try to give him the comparison of the past and present? i do that with as many people under me as possible. i give them the look of waht real music is, as opposed to the non-musical stuff thats polluting most of the airwaves today

what do you mean, y do i show him real music then the krap on the radio now, because my dad did it to me and i 've appreciated the music that he had play'd for me, so he can hear tru instruments and how they should be played, dont get me wrong i love sample based music, but theres nothing in the lyrics of todays music theres no heart theres no soul.

i went to the club friday nite and iwas just watching the dj, dj revolution and he was flowers amazin but the music he was playing all remakes of 80's and the other stuff man i didnt know any of that sh!t this board came up to me and ask'd me y i wasnt dancing? how the hell can you dance to something you dont know the words to and the words are just sh1t.
i want my son to appreciate reall music not just rap(HIPhOP) he knows who james brown is he knows kraftwerk,he knows what house is he knows funk he's only four he's barely learning to write his name.

i dont listen to sh1t music i dont expect my son too.so i teach him.

i agree with issues. yeah, you should definitly show em how to appreciate music from the past but you shouldn't deprive em of the present or the future. i mean do what you want, i aint tryin to tell anyone how to raise they kids but all i sayin is, i would be PISSED AS FUK at my folks if they tried to limit or restrict what i listened to while growing up. shaping is one thing but depriving is another. just my 2 cents. like i said, do what you will, they your kids.
