yes this is brott-la-rott an up and comnig producer i produce my music on a korg triton thats it but the shit sounds fire!! i saved up my money by selling some beats to some some of the local artist and( foot locker) in my area(south carolina) i have saved 3000$ with the to combined but now im ready for an mpc1000 i did the manual ressearch on it and the sample king ish i have about 500 vinyl records from the bee gees to andy williams but remember i only used a triton keyboard nothing else im trying to learn how to program the vinyl to the mpc and vice versa and also i visited moviewavs.com i seen some hot samples that i might want to use but i do i program all of that ?? do i buy turntables for the viny??? and what about the moviewavs.com site i do i get those samples downloaded onto the mpc 1000?? i just need some positive advice i know someone is going to come at me hard but shit im just trying to learn how to get all this stuff poppin thanx

You will need at least 1 turntable and a dj mixer for the vinyl. Turntables do not have pre-amps in them so you need to hook the turntable into the mixer and then the MPC in order to get the sound. As for the movie samples you can transfer them from cd to the mpc.

Unless it's a turntable with a digital out. I'm using a Stanton STR8-150 which has a digital out that plugs straight into my MPC's digital in.

TTXs and other Stanton models also have this feature
