Laptop riser for MPC 1k

I was just at Office Max and I bought one of these:

It works awesome. It makes it a lot easer working with the MPC and other gear, especially if you like to sit down and not lean over the machine.

As cool an idea as that looks, doesn't it make it hard to actually play the pads? Seems like an awkward angle, the ikea one anyway.

I bought the Ikea REDD thing today, and it works fine. It's sturdy and not bouncing.
