quick question

just got my 1000 the other day i tried to sample off a record, but the time field only records up to 10 seconds. when i try to add a greater time it turns blank. I have all the settings and threshold and all that tight, i just don't get why its only 10 seconds of record time.

do you already have a lot of samples loaded into memory? in my 2000, if you have already sampled a lot into the machine, you get less and less time to sample...

yeah but i guess it might be the small memory card that, i got plus i still have all the preset songs still loaded in the mpc, is there a way i can erase them and ill get more time to sample.
