PIcs of your cribs..

hey grouphome, u have a lot of samplers but prob only one set of turntables right??? How do u get the one output to the record in of all your samplers??? Lol, ive been wanting to do it for a while but i have no clue how

Blazer,you could probably use a mixer.Go from the tt to the mixer out to all of the samplers.

I've got a Patchbay connected to my turntable
its got line out so no need for DJ mixer whatsoever
also have a "DJ" set, but that is in another room

I dont get it though, i have about 5 samplers
and my turntable only has unbalanced rca outputs and spdif those are the two im using, how do i maxamize the out puts to 5?

I've been building for about 9 years now
started out with only an old Atari and an Korg M1

just hook the rca's to an patchbay and also have al your sample inputs on that patchbay so you can switch the samplers

just a standart 48 jack patchbay (balanced)

ok my setup is real simple, no hardware really yet. im running off reason 3, recycle 2.1, shitty compaq pc (w/ 1gb ram upgrade, emu 1212m soundcard, and 80gb ext hd), m-audio keystation 61es, Numark tt-100 (w/ preamp), and some vinyls.

I am gonna be copping about 200 vinyls and a mpc1000 in the next 2 weeks so maybe i'll post an updated picture later.

i've been thinking about adding a patch bay to my set up but (as stupid as it may sound) i don't know how a patch bay operates... how do you select where the inputs get sent out... i know it's basic but i've never really been around one.

REN don't worry bout the brrom closet thing if you look back you'll see my set up (it's in a closet too) lol.

again a couple old modules that arent connected in the rack are not shown in these. i also have all my records that are out of the pic. the oxygen is for cubase. i have lots of vsti's i mess around with. the other keyboard is for the 5k. nothin major
