i dont understand how u install it on the mpc u drag it over then what do u do

just write the MPC1kOS.bin into your Flashcard then switch the MPC off and while hold down the "WINDOW"-Key switch it on again.
The New OS will be installed automatical...

with the US products? Just curious, since it is not on the akaipro.com USA website. I e-mailed akai about this so maybe they will reply.

Does this even matter? Just download the the update from any of their international websites so you don't have to wait two weeks for them to respond.

any one know what it updates?

V1.01 : "Q-Link Slider does not display the correct value as per its position."

V1.02 : "Fix trim edit problem, After Discard,etc, samples disappear or lock up."

I have updated to 1.02 from the Japanese site and it works better then before.

What will the next OS fix on the MPC 1000? What other area's needs to be fixed on the MPC 1000!

I reckon the fix should cover anything still broke or reported to be
