i read the manual, but couldnt find anything in there about burning cds, is this possible on 2500?

Version 1.1 will burn audio cd's. It should be out with in the week.

You stated this before...do you have an inside scoop?

Audio CD burning was not promised..but burning data/backup CDs were..which are two completely different things. Burning actual audio cd's would put this unit over the top...
