From MPx2xl to 2500

I have the opportunity to trade my maxed out mpc2xl that has everything efffects, 8outs, smpte the whole 9 with $500 for a 2500.
Do you fella's think thats a fair trade and is it worth it....
I am happy with the xl but i need a better system to transfer files..... the USB feature will be pretty big for me. I'm a little apprehensive about the reported bugs but I am sure that will probably be fixed, right?

are you trading your 2000xl + $500 for the 2500 if so it is a good deal but remember that your 2000xl song files and aps files and all song and seq files will not load in the 2500 you have to resave your programs and seqs files separately so they will load

Thanks for the tip......I already completed the trade last night and so far I am pleased. I still have access to the 2000xl so that will take care of the transfers.

just curious... did you do the trade at a store or with a person?

in other words, is the 2500 brand new out the box?

Technically it is used ...but the guy claims he only used for a hour. It was well packaged in the box no marks, manual was unopened, the plastic on the front and back and front of lcd display was untouched, seems brand new.
