i loaded a sample cd onto a zip disk so i could load it onto the mpc but when i tried my mpc froze, then after a bit it gave me "error at 0000:CB3C" and it froze....is there a max number of files that i can put on a zip disk, the zip had about 1600 files but it was only about 2/3 full....thx

yes there is a max number of files you can put on a zip, but my mp never froze because of it. It should say "the directory is full" or something like that.

it varies because it all depends on the size of the file. I have one zip that I use for strictly sounds and I got like 900 drums, snares, percussion etc. on it.

But if you saving samples you most likely gonna fill up the capacity of the zip, not the directory capacity of the zip. If that makes sense
