so i have searched and failed and have fallen defeated
song plays fine in song mode/ then i convert to seg (mute iqnored)/ the the new song seq only plays the first 8 bars actually the first seg programed in the song/ so it seem that basically the new song seg is not playing the programed transistions. all of the notes are there but do not trigger.

this is a first and i am not sure whether or not it is because of the new os or my bacardi bat vision

i have already tried to reload/ reprogram. i have tried everything that my poor bird brain can ponder

thanks in advance THIS IS MY VERY FIRST POST excuse the spelling

If your sequences do not share the same track/programlme structure it is likely that when converting to song the programme allocation per track is not done properly and then your song won(t play like it should.
Make sure that on all your sequences track 1 is always using the same programme (i.e DRUMS), same for track 2 etc. On ALL your sequences.
This is, most likely, your problem.

Other than that see if your loop (sequence loop ON) is set correctly. It is possible that the SONG you created is set to loop only on the firts bars. So select the LOOP ON field in MAIN screen and hit WINDOW, see that it loops till 1 to END.

Can't see other solutions.

Ciao.

hey thanks FREEZE i tripple checked both of those step again (that was what i saw from my search attempts) and STILL NO GO.

the songseq reaches the note where the transistion should happen and nothing(the bars continue but no sound). NOT even the blinking lights by the track, despite the fact that the notes exist in the step editor field

i feel like it is obviously something so small because this is how i have been programing songs successfully for months now.

i have no idea
