Matching Acapella's to Instrumentals

Having trouble finding rappers for my tracks (calgary) so I decided to match them over various acapella's instead. I tried searching this and I'm sure there are similar posts so if there is please link them. I would like to know your process (software/hardware, technique) as I'm quite clueless on how some of these people can match up the acapella's so smoothly without chopping the acapella to hell or preforming some mass time stretch. Thanks.

either make the beat around the acapella or once you have the beat down, play the beat and run the acapella thru a time stretch effect while the beat is playing. speed up or slow down the accapella until it matches.

any specific program you use, I mostly use adobe audition but it doesn't let me beat match on the fly to a instrumental.

the easyest way and i guess the way most do it ... well most accapellas i have are on vinyl, and conciderin the fact im also a dj i just play my beat on my computer, and multi-track the accapella over my beat in CoolEditPro (or any other multitracking program). to match the beat i first do as i would do if i were beatmatching on the tables.. i play my beat on the computer and match the instrumental track off the vinyl till its matched perfectly..then i get the accapella track ready, hit 'record' and record it over my beat. i dont know how they do it easily on the computer though.

get a turntable and some vinyl (or serato) and match the bpm of the acapella to the instrumental using the pitch fader;
....or you're stuck with the long 'software' way.....

BPM the song with a tap program or whatever (preferably the song not just the acapella) then you know the tempo of the acapella, Adjust in software to fit. Or use tables =)

u want a pretty accurate bpm of the original track otherwise its not gonna work out very well

i pretty much do what waxmaster does. i have numark ttx turntables which have the Key Lock function which is awesome for matching acapellas to beats. it basically changes the tempo of the acapella without changing the pitch. so you can speed up a biggy acapella and it doesnt sound like bow wow when you're done. just raps faster. as far as software i was sure there would be a program that did a similar process but i couldnt find one. good luck.

Oh yea, I use Acid. I already know the tempo of my instrumental so I beatmap it to that tempo and then I get the acepella and beatmap it to the same tempo. It's not perfect so I'll have to go in and chop the acepella up so it will fit perfectly, little bit of a hassel but it works.

i jsut picked up a sunz of man single and an inspectah deck single both with acapellas so 2 remix projects to do, after i finish my shabaz track ..
