at last good news!!!! for me anyway. ok my mpc was bought second hand, i was completely **** over it was utterly broken, went to get it sent off for repairs, which would hav cost me a fortune. however the delivery cmpny lost my mpc when delivering it to the repairs cmnpny. therefore ive had to wait months to see if they could find it, or if i will get a new one on insurance. just found a new mpc 1000bk is being snt to my house tmrw.

any ideas if the mpc 1000bk in the uk is including any free ram like in japan, or if it will hav the hd-10 adapter for hard drive, and how big the mem card is, as im pretty sure no uk ppl r currently stocking it. its coming straight from numark uk.

Glad to hear that, Rob. Looks like you'll find out what's included when it arrives.

Was it City Link that lost your MPC mate?

I still wouldn't count on it being the black version. They might still be trying to shift the red/blue units. Still, either way you've got a brand new MPC and OS 2 is only a few clicks away!

How much has it cost you in total?

nah it was UPS m8. sorry been playing with my new sleek mpc :) Bit peed tho, one of the pad's seems really loose, it works fine, but it just feels like its on the verge of breakng. u tap it and u can hear a click? any ideas if if that sounds easy to fix....i refuse to send anything off to repairs every again!!!! anyway doesnt look like ive got anything new, it came with the old manual as well :( . new os is fun!!! but havnt used mpc for a few months now so im a bit out of touch, and was really getting into ableton live. so gonna hav to get used to the mpc feel again. also unsure how to tell if they've included the hd-10 kit, theres no indication that its there, but i guess if i remove the front i should be able to see right?

u tap it and u can hear a click?

slightly bent metal clips holding the pad in place. this means that either it was manufactured poorly or that it has already been opened.

pop your 1k open and take a look. just push it to look like the others and it's fine.

the good news is that it isn't about to break, and the click does not effect performance at all!

peace, i'm glad to hear that you're back in business. you've had a really rough time.
