note repeat hold feature

Havent had time to read the new OS manual till now or play much either because of work but picked up on the note reapeat hold thats been impliminted in the new OS, nice one Akai

no, he is talking about instead of continuously holding the note repeat button when you want a pad to repeat, you can now (which was not in the old os) lock the note repeat feature until you turn it off.

you can do that by holding down the (in either order) shift + note repeat. to unlock it just press the note repeat button again (by itself)

yeah, that's a cool little feature.

for what its worth to the people who actually wanna discuss the thread - as opposed to the people who wanna discuss how the thread has already been discussed.....

i for one dont recall the aforementioned previous discussion having included the fact that akai removed the manipulation of the specified note rep- quantise value from the wheel to the F-keys, i think they should have kept the datawheel's control of the parameter in addition to the F-keys..........

they didn't remove it, you can still manipulate the quatize value while a seq is playing just like you could with the old OS. just press and hold the F1(T.C.) key and use your datawheel to change the value.
