(another) question about chopping breaks

ok, i've tried both what lamp and sushi suggested, and the autoregions still arent hitting the zero-crossings exactly.

now am i wrong to assume that you want all your chops at -Inf.? can they be a little bit off? am i just being too anal about it?

anyways, i've tried using the noise gate and autoregions to drum beats. i've also tried adjusting the zero-crossing threshold level and scan times in the preferences. neither produced the results im looking for.
is there something else i'm missing?
the manual snap to zero function does move my cursor to the nearest zero, but that doesnt move the regions. also, im pretty sure the auto snap to zero-crossings is on...although i cant seem to find the indicator.

i understand that i can do this manually, but if theres any easier way than moving each region point twice, i would like to know.
