It appears to me that you are contradicting yourself.

If your mixer has enough audio inputs channels, connect all the MPCs audio outputs and all the Fantom's audio outputs into the audio inputs of your mixer.

Your mixer should have a main monitor output (or master stereo output) to connect your powered monitors to.

If you mixer has an additional audio outs (stereo out, send outs, buss outs), you can connect these to the stereo audio input of the MPC.

much apperciated jahrome. So the stero out and assignable mix out 1 and 2 at the back of the mpc2500 all go in to stereo inputs. But what about the (record in) at the back of the mpc2500 where do i put that in the mixer because i want to sample the sounds on my fantom xr to the mpc ???????????

You have several options.......

As I said above, if you have an additional stereo output, Buss output, or send output..connect that to the stereo input (record in) of the MPC. This way, you can route sounds from the mixer to the MPC to sample.

You also have the choice of connecting an audio output of the Fantom to the stereo input (record in) of the MPC. This way you can record sounds from your Fantom into the MPC.

First...how did you set-up your MPC and Fantom? Can your MPC trigger Fantom sounds from your MPCs pads?

By EmmanuelG Sat Feb 25, 2006 8:54 pm
my mpc midi out a going into fantom midi in and also like you said ive got the mono outputs going into the record in on the mpc, and yes my pads and keyboard play the sounds of the fantom
