matic777, nice setup. That chair looks comfortable too.

That's what I paid for mine a few years back. Came with a couple of roms also. Don't drop the DX7 on your foot though. Things a tank

Yeah, I've seen DX7's come and go (as well as other DX models) over the years. I agree, the DX7 is a tank.
I passed up every oppurtunity to buy a DX7 and decided to grab a DX200 when they were discontinued 3 years ago for $199 brand new. I lucked out and got the last unit Guitar Center had in stock. Coincidently there was a Yamaha sales rep there that I chatted with for a few minutes and he gave me some contact info, web links, and stuff like that. I'm glad I bought the DX200, since it's more user-friendly and yet still an FM powerhouse inside a small box.

Yes bud your better off with a DX200 than an DX7. I transferred my DX7 sounds into my FS1R so the DX7 just sits there now. You ever played with a FS1R mate? It's the Daddy of FM 8)

Yeah, I decided a while back that the DX200 was the better choice. I havent tried the FS1R before. Is that a Yamaha or another brand?

I was thinking about getting this same desk.

how sturdy is that keyboard tray? I'd be putting my 49 key controller on it.

I am actually impressed how sturdy it is. I though it would feel slack after a while but it actually been holding up really good. This desk is small but as you can see eveything fits lol somewhat :)

I dont have an ypics of the Technics and the Vestax or my Vinyl...
Maybe I will get aorund to posting more pics later.

What do you all think of the set up?

I use Sample Tank for 98% of my synths, and an Old Yamaha DJX-II (not pictured) for the other 2%.
