TRacking in C.E.P

I have a little problem when tracking out to C.E.P.For instance i record a kick on track one.It records fine but when i go to record on track 2 (i.e...snare)It will record the snare but it records the kick also on the same track.So on track 2 i have the kick and snare.So for each new track i record it will record the previous tracks all on the selected track.(hope that makes sense).Any ideas?

did u try muting track 1 while u record track 2, i had this problem in Cubase vst, itz like CEP iz recording itz on output

I can do that but i would prefer to hear the previous track also.

go to your sound properties and turn off stereo mix. it is basically recording the input and output at the same time on the track. just have line in on. peace. hope this helps.
