What is the best midi hook up for these three? Looking for some opinions.

If you're just hooking these three items together, ASR 10 or Motiff rack To MPC Out A or B. Whichever line route the other to whichever line wasn't used. That way you'll have 32 Midi Channels at your disposal, (1A-16A) and (1B-16B). Should you get some more equipment you can always use your midi thru and split up the channels even more.

how long have you had the motif rack? can you still return it? if so, do so. alone it may sound great, but the midi timing is messed up (dont take my word for it, go do search at sos: november 2003 "cross talk").

Doesen't it have a global tempo setting? I've never played with one but most midi capable units have this function.

in the article i read, nick magnus who reviewed it says "even quite simple multitimbral sequences of five or six parts were being played back with inconsistent timing." he goes on to say, "this was particularly noticable when assigning some parts in a song to the motif rack and others to different synths." replace "synth" with "drum sampler" and you see why im worried.
i just know id be unhappy to part with that kind of cash and then find out what i bought doesnt work spot on. im too poor for that sh!t.
