Akai Website wrote:To download an OSX disk image (.dmg) in browsers other than Safari, you should press and hold the ALT key when you click on the download link - the file will download as normal but some browsers might prompt you first before the download begins.
All of the downloads are .zip files which compresses them, making them smaller and more suitable for download. Windows users can use WinZip to 'unzip' them whilst Mac users can use ZipIt.
Mac and Windows users can also use Stuffit Expander which can de-compress .zip files. All of these are freely available for download at the following URLs:
www.winzip.com Download WINZIP for the PC
www.maczipit.com Download ZipIt for the Mac
www.aladdinsys.com Download Stuffit Expander (Zip compatible) for the Mac and PC
Once the .zip file has opened, you will need Acrobat Reader in order to open the PDF. This is available from: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
