opening this d*mn manual

whats a good freeware program i can open the mpc1k's 2.1 manual on?? did it in txt format and it looked like arabic

the manual is in .pdf format. it's adobe acrobat reader. re download it.

actually, the last few times i've tried to download Acrobat (for 98se at least) it came up corrupted. haven't been able to open a .pdf since i re-installed my OS...

I run the same OS (98SE)...it works fine for me...

well yeah, it worked fine for me when i had it before. have you tried downloading it recently from their site or have you had it?

I may have had it from a previous download, cannot remember. If you're having problems downloading acrobat reader from adobe site...try downloading it from oldversion.com. Maybe this can resolve the issue.

It's not a compressed file.
Therefore it can't be uncompressed.

All of the downloads are .zip files which compresses them, making them smaller and more suitable for download. Windows users can use WinZip to 'unzip' them whilst Mac users can use ZipIt.
