Installing the new Ram

I was looking on this site I didnt see instruction on to install the 128 Ram card. I only seen how to do the hard drive. And I didnt see how to do it in the book. Any help please.

Its not letting me see it do u have to be a member or somethin. It said please wait I did and nothin happened.

when you click on the link and you see the count down, there is a pop up that covers the countdown. you have to close that pop up and you'll see the link that says start to download.

It's really pretty easy.

The small plate on the bottom is where it goes, and the chip can only go in one way.

Just make sure if you get a 3rd party chip, that you get one that has 2 chips on each side. I made the mistake of picking one up that had 4 per side and it just froze the machine. Exchanged it for PNY with 2 per side and now it works perfectly.

And I have been loking up RAM for my mpc and came across these. Which has 4 chips in teh front not the back.

hood, if you get the ones you linked, it will only give you 64mb. you have to get 256mb to give you 128mb.

I brought those specs to the store and was handed a ram chip with the same specs, but 4 chips per side instead of 2 and it didnt work, wouldn't boot up at all. If I took it out, It would boot. When I exchanged for my PNY it worked perfectly, and still does.

I followed the instructions in the sticky note thread and just popped it in and I was dialed in. The only wierd thing is you have to push it in and click it into the tabs in the slot.
