How to load a new OS on my mpc

sup guys... i tried to load the new OS on my mpc xl but i wasnt able to ...
i saved it on a zip drive on my pc then went on my mpc and tried loading it but... nothing..
anyways letme know if any of u guys have any other ways of doin it

the way i did mine was through my cd rom. its connected through scsi

Where did you get the O.s?
Did you unzip it?(sorry but i have to ask)
What files did you save to the disk?
What was the Format of the Disk?
