Jacpot, you may fool some, but not I...That sample is not chopped up that much...I have it...I used it actually...but that is beside the point...

who cares how much its chopped. its about how hot the end product is. anyway i voted for jimbo..even though i've heard about 40 soul songs with the same strings, same chord progression. it was still the better of the 2. peace

I knew it was a popular song but I wanted to use it. I liked the strings and how the "I want you" sounded. Thanks for the votes. My sh!t is ready for the vocals, jacs sh!t aint Overall, mine is a complete track. Used sample or not.

I have to say the Marvin sample was cool but like it's been stated it is pretty popular, Jimbo you should've really really flipped it to where it was damn near unrecognizable then you would have won. Jacpot I was feeling the beat the most so I voted for Everyday.

Sidenote: Why do cats post a "beat" battle and then say "well, mine was the most complete!" I don't get it, maybe y'all need to start posting rules or something. We used to do nice beat battles on here now they seem to be losing their luster. We would post rules like, 1:30 minute sample based loop, or full song with accs or full song period with you or your artist! Now cats be voting for beats because it's longer with more changeups or sequences.....that's GAY! Better is better hands down, if you want to compare breakdowns add that in the rules! Plus everybody is SO sensitive around here now, used to only be a couple of female posters in the forums nowadays it's hard to tell.
